How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?

I decided to pursue a career in medicine early on in middle school. I suffered a serious orthopedic injury to my hand and spent 2 months in the hospital. During my stay, I was fascinated with the way the staff was so caring and helpful. I felt a connection at this time. As I progressed into high school, my interest in the basic sciences and math increased and solidified my decision.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy being a physician’s consultant and providing them contemporaneous information to care for their patients. Although my patient interaction is minimal, I am grateful that I can affect numerous patients care on a daily basis.

What is your favorite way to spend free time?

My favorite way to spend free time is on the ocean. I grew up in South Florida and have always enjoyed fishing and photography. Since moving to Colorado in 1998, I have the opportunity to visit my favorite destinations on the Pacific ocean including Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Hawaii

What do you like most about working at RIA?

My favorite things about RIA are the ability to practice radiology across multiple states and hospital systems. This correlates to regional care. My partners are available for consultations 24/7 to ensure constant learning and practicing with a high level of confidence.
