“I joined ISJ 11 years ago, in June, but my connection to this organization began much earlier. Twenty one years ago, I was a patient here. After receiving excellent, compassionate care from Dr. Lampert and the entire staff, I knew ISJ was a truly special and caring facility. That experience stayed with me.

I began working in the medical field in 1978, and in 2015 I had the opportunity to apply for a position with ISJ. When I was offered the job at our Golden Red Rocks location, I was so happy I cried. It felt like coming full circle — from patient to team member — and I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working at nearly all our sites, except for Parker, Littleton, and the new Colorado Springs location. I’ve served as a registrar, scheduler, and float, and I’ve often been asked to take on new responsibilities. I’ve enjoyed learning every single one of them. Although I’ve had opportunities to move into other roles, I’ve stayed in the front office as a registrar because it’s where I feel the happiest and most fulfilled.

I’m a people person, and I take great pride in delivering excellent customer service. I’ve loved getting to know our patients, supporting them through their journeys, and building lasting relationships with both patients and coworkers. Watching ISJ grow and change over the years has been incredible, and through it all, it has remained a compassionate, supportive, and truly exceptional place to work.
